THE PARADE . . .

The 50th Annual Bordentown Halloween Parade is Sunday, October 29th, 2023 at 2pm, with a raindate of November 5th at 2pm.

It is with great pride we are again beginning preparations for the annual Bordentown Halloween Parade. It is sponsored by the Consolidated Fire Association, for the City of Bordentown and the surrounding communities. The fame of our parade grows every year with your generous participation.

You can sign up your family or organization to participate in the parade by filling out the online registration form at www.bordentownhalloween.com or by calling 609-298-9328. Many local organizations, girl scout and boy scout troops, families and neighbors create floats for the parade in a variety of themes. We ask that no political floats enter the parade.

Masqueraders wishing to be judged can gather in front of St Mary's School on Elizabeth St at 1pm the day of the parade. All those wishing to compete in this costume contest should register with the judges beginning at 1:00pm in front of St Mary's School. Prizes will be given for children and adults in the categories of prettiest, scariest, and most original, and additional prizes will be awarded for groups and families. Masqueraders have the option of walking in the parade after they are judged.

All parade participants (floats, marching units, fire trucks) should report to the corners of Spring St and Elizabeth St at 1pm, where a member of the Consolidated Fire Association will give you further instructions on where to line up.

The parade route will be: The parade will go down Elizabeth St toward Second St, making a right turn onto Second St and making a left turn onto Park St. The parade will then make a left turn onto Farnsworth Ave. The parade will continue down Farnsworth Ave and make a left turn onto East Union St, and making a left onto Crosswicks St to the reviewing standing in front of the Clare Estates. The parade will end by turning down Lafayette St and back to Elizabeth St.

We are teaming up with the Kiwanis of Bordentown for their Annual Sock Drive, we are asking all participants and people coming to watch the parade to bring new packaged socks with you that will be collected along the parade route. Our goal is to collect 1000 pairs of socks.
